Timpanogos Cave National Monument: An hour from Park City, you'll find Timpanogos Cave National Monument- a famous cave system that is super fun to explore. On the surface, they take advantage of their scenic, high-elevation location by hosting frequent night sky programs. Need another reason to visit? The International Dark-Sky Association has certified Timpanogos as an Urban Night Sky Place (UNSP) for their efforts to promote an authentic nighttime experience in the midst of a significant artificial light at night. This is a wonderful place to stargaze!

Jordanelle State Park: This gorgeous recreational area is one of the state's many certified dark sky parks. Nestled in rolling mountains, you'll have an excellent vantage point for stargazing when you're here.

Rockport State Park: 6000 feet above sea level, Rockport State Park is in a rural natural area with minimal light pollution. You'll see billions of stars!

East Canyon State Park: Although it is just 35 miles from Salt Lake City, the mountains that surround this park block much of the light pollution, enabling you to get awesome views of the night sky!
