Upcoming Live Music in Park City

January 22, 2020

Live Music is a staple in our mountain town. You can hear the roar of funk, blues, pop, rock, and hip hop fill the town on a regular occurrence. Because of this, you can be sure to find live music on your next vacation if you know where to look! Of the many venues, the ones most popular in the winter months include Park City Live, The Cabin, OP Rockwell, and The Spur Bar and Grill.

Below, find my local’s favorite list of each venue’s upcoming shows with links to their websites below!

Park City Live
Park City Live  is the iconic live music and Film Festival scene in the heart of town. This month as part of their Snow Fest you can witness a variety of artists from Rap by Lil Jon (Jan. 23) and Wiz Khalifa (Jan 24) to today’s pop with the Chainsmokers (Jan. 25). The Snow Fest continues through the end with electronic dance with Tiesto (Jan. 26) and some remixed goodies with DJ Kaskade (Jan. 31). Swinging into February they have The Magic Hippies (Feb. 8); an Indie Funk band that blends the Hip Hop and Soul flavors for a night of grooves. And shortly after, swing by the Bone Thugs-N’-Harmony Show on February 15th for an evening of 90s and 00s Hip Hop and Rap in true thug fashion.

The Cabin
JJ Grey (Jan. 23) will rock down the house, or should I say Cabin, with his soulful rock. The do-it-all singer, actress, and show host, Brandi Cyrus, brings her own flare with a DJ Set on January 28th. Then to heat up the month of February, get down with some rocking beats; ETHNOS with DJ Marty Paws on February 8th.

OP Rockwell
Ron Artis II his new band “The Truth” bring their love and passion for music straight from Hawaii to the front stage on January 23 at OP Rockwell. “The Truth” is preceded by the opening act, Kris Lager, a traveling man with stories to tell with his blues guitar sets. On January 28, Honey Hounds and Lost in Bourbon are two acts sure to get your boots stomping. Then, Bass Physics and Anthony Motto are two artists performing on February 1st. They combine a mix of genres into their own unique burning man festival type of revolutionary tunes.

The Spur Bar and Grill
Nightly Shows. Yes, 7 days a week at The Spur Bar and Grill. This is the place to find music on any “Spur” of the moment evening out! They host everything from DJs to Single Performers and Bands of many genres.
