Summer is creeping up on us! The sunshine is melting away the snow and the wildflowers are starting to bloom. As the weather warms, Park City is reenergized. The events that take place during the warmer months are always exciting. Planning a summer escape to Park City? You're in for a treat! You can look forward to outdoors adventures, al fresco dining, and, of course, amazing festivals. Here's a peak at some of the top festivals to attend this summer!
Park City Farmers' Market (Wednesdays, May 29-October 23, 2024):
The Park City Farmers' Market will kick off their 24th season on May 29, 2024! This beloved local market will be open to all on Wednesdays throughout the summer season and into the fall. Come browse for food, artisan goods, and other items provided by lovely local vendors set up by the First Time Chair Lift Parking Lot.
Latino Arts Festival (June 14-16, 2024):
The Latino Arts Festival is a celebration of the Latino and Hispanic cultures of Peru, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and more. During the festival, there will be film screenings, live music performances, and other events. There will also be a diverse array of artists showcasing their work, ranging from piñata making to photography to crocheting. Food vendors will be on the scene offering cultural dishes! Spend the weekend immersing yourself in culture at the Latino Arts Festival!
Bark City Festival (June 29, 2024):
The Bark City Festival is a free event centered around "man's best friend!" Attendees can enter their dogs in competitions to show off their Bark, Silly Tricks, Fashion, and more. There will also be booths, music, and local food trucks. The whole family will love browsing the vendors and admiring all of the cute dogs!
Feeling sporty? You and your dog can participate in the 5K! Registrants will receive a dog bandana, race bib, and access to the Bark City Festival. Proceeds will benefit local adoption agencies, shelters, and charities. Costumes are encouraged (but not necessary).
Concerts on the Slopes (Select dates in July and August 2024):
Utah's ultimate outdoor concert extravaganza takes place in Park City! During the Concert on the Slopes concert series, you can enjoy some of the best musical acts in the country at an affordable cost and without any hassle! This series has complimentary parking, easy access, picnic-friendly vibes, and low ticket prices. The stunning scenery makes it even more spectacular! This year's lineup features Blitzen Trapper, Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas, UB40, Jason Scheff (of the band Chicago), Tommy DeCarlo (of the band Boston), Guster, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Spoon, Aly & AJ, Josh Turner, an "I Love the 90s" event, and Sara Evans.
Forum Fest (July 3-6, 2024):
Forum Fest is a three-day summer music festival full of fun! This family-friendly event features fantastic food, delicious drinks, family activities, public art displays, drone shows, fireworks, and more. It is free to attend! Live music is at the heart of the event. The lineup hasn't been announced yet, but we know they'll be bringing in awesome performers.
Canyons Village Summer Concert Series (Thursdays, July 11-August 29, 2024):
On select Thursday nights throughout the summer, the Canyons Village Summer Concert Series brings in musical acts from around the country to perform in Park City. The lineup has not been announced yet. We're eagerly awaiting the announcement! These open air shows are free to attend. Bring a blanket or a low chair to sit in. Dining and shopping options are available on site!
Kimball Arts Festival (August 2-4, 2024):
The Kimball Arts Festival is an awesome art event taking place in Park City this August. It is one of the top rated art festivals in the entire country! A blind jury evaluates applicants and invites approximately 200 artists to participate in the festival. Participants come from all over the world and represent numerous mediums! There will be ceramics, paintings, photography, jewelry, woodworking, and other art on display and on sale. As you browse through artists' work, you can enjoy a variety of live music, food trucks, artisan tasting tents, and more.
Park City Song Summit (August 15-17, 2024):
The Park City Song Summit is a innovative event that blends music and wellness. This multi-day festival is based around intimate conversations and musical performances. You'll get to enjoy music by wonderful performers in an environment that emphasizes wellness, mental health, addiction recovery, and inclusivity. The 2024 headliners are Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, My Morning Jacket, and Mavis Staples. You can view the full lineup here.
