Some ski experts say ‘Utah skiing only gets better in April’ and I believe it. This winter has blanketed Utah mountains with generous white snow providing incredible coverage on the mountains. The resorts have blissfully been whisping through powder all winter long. Now as we delight into spring skiing, we can be thankful for the deep snow pack with plenty of coverage to enjoy the slopes for the next few weeks.
I can’t think of a more perfect weekend get-away than heading to Park City, UT to take advantage of plentiful snow, bluebird skies, longer days, and incredible snow. Another bonus to spring skiing are the fun spring events. Coming up this weekend on Saturday, April 6th is the Spring Grüv Concert series at Canyons Village at Park City Mountain Resort.
From 2:00 to 3:30 pm is Henry Hunter. Henry spent time recording in Nashville with his original band and has supported some big name American country acts with many years of experience performing in a variety of projects. He has been on US, European and UK tours, as well as theater shows that include Vampire Rock and Bat – The Symphony. He was also the lead role in original musical Bad Boy Johnny and The Prophets of Doom. Taking stage from 4:00 to 6:00 pm is the Dragondeer. Continue to enjoy the apres scene and the beautiful mountain backdrop listening to more good tunes.
