We all know that Park City is an amazing place to visit. From the exciting ski slopes to charming Main Street, there's a lot to love about Park City. Imagine if it got even better! For 2023, the Park City Chamber Bureau has announced a slate of new projects meant to make the already great city even greater by improving quality of life and information accessibility.
In the spring of 2022, Park City adopted a Sustainable Tourism plan. The plan was developed in collaboration with diverse community stakeholders to create a long-range sustainable destination plan that will benefit the entire county. Now, they intend to start acting on the plan! Several new projects will be introduced during 2023, which will try to ease the impact of tourism on residents and make the city more enjoyable for everyone.
One project will see the Park City Chamber Bureau's website (http://www.visitparkcity.com) redesigned and relaunched. This website is exceptionally helpful for visitors looking to plan trips to Park City as well as to locals seeking events and activities to participate in. New changes will make it even easier to use!
The chamber will also work with Park City Area Lodging Association to design an educational campaign, which will help visitors learn about traffic reduction and recycling in Park City.
Yet another project will see the creation of a new trails website for summer visitors looking to hike while they're in beautiful Park City. The chamber is working with the Mountain Trails Foundation and Basin Recreation to make sure that the website is clear, comprehensive, and helpful. The app Trailforks will see its messaging features and informative resources enhanced.
