Park City 4th of July

The 4th of July is one of the best celebrations in Park City during the summer.  There are a ton of different activities to engage in, plus ending the celebration in fire works is always something to remember. 

7:00 AM

To kick things off, take the family to an early morning pancake breakfast.  Located at City Park, the event is $7 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.

8:00 AM

If you are ready for a bit of a fun run, look no further than the Cole Sport 5k Mountain Fun Run.  Do keep in mind that this event you need to register for ahead of time.  You can go to colesport.com for more information.

11:00 AM

The Park City annual 4th of July Parade takes place from the top of Main Street  and to end at City Park.  Do keep in mind that parking for the entire day is a bit of a hassle so plan on taking public transportation.  This event is crowded, so if you want front row seats, make sure to arrive early. 

10:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Grab your family and friends and head to City Park.  Here there will be a variety of activities to engage in and watch from volleyball games to rugby.  Not sure how to rugby is played? That’s ok, there will be information at 11 AM followed by a premier match at 1PM. Cheerful children on beautiful summer meadow enjoying and having picnic

There will also be a variety of kids activities from 3-legged races wheel-barrel races and more.  The family can enjoy BBQ in the park for lunch or a late afternoon snack. 

5:00 PM and 7:30 PM

Live music to kick off by Memphis McCool at The Green in Park City.  Come and enjoy a modern take on soul and groove music.  After, stay and enjoy music by The Soulistics.  This Utah band has great vocalists and will be sure to entertain.

Finally, the part that everyone has been waiting for: fireworks.  The 4th of July simply would not be the same unless there was an amazing display of fireworks to watch.  Take it all in, these fireworks are pretty special.
